The Sito Plus exhaust gives a mild performance boost, see Air Filter Hole and Sito Plus dyno results. The Sito Plus is a good exhaust for putting a little pep in your ride.

    Post Mortem

A look inside a dead Sito Plus Exhaust. The reason this exhaust died was due to the exhaust stub on a Pinasco kit wearing. Take care to bolt exhausts on properly as vibration will cause both damage to the exhaust stub on aluminium barrels and the exhaust itself.

What's the difference between a 'standard' SITO Plus which sells for around $100 and the SIP T5 Pro (http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/SIP0800/Exhaust+SIP+T5+PRO+Vespa+P200.aspx) which is nearly triple the price? Is the latter pipe three times better? Does anyone know whether the added expense is worth it? edited 12:46, 5 Aug 2010

Hi Dedalo - the blurb says it is a converted T5 exhaust .The 125cc T5's are not being produced any more but were are fantastic scoot (I had one). Mine had a Malossi conversion and would rev out very freely.

I am guessing that this exhaust would not add much to a low reving kit like a Pinasco or Standard, but may help a Malossi. Having said that, the Sito design is not "that" tuned so a dyno would be the only way of telling if it was an improvement over the cheaper PX designed Sito.
