To remome cylinger without using the rear shock/oil line
and other, remove head, lock*with vise-grip to studs, as
near bto cyclinder as posible without danaging too much
of the threads, because the threads nearest to cylinder
are not even used, after removal of all studs, the cylinder
will come off without any other action-this applys to the
    older vespas, VBB-VNA-VSX etc...

yep - that is another way. An alternative to vise-grips it to tighten 2 nuts against themselves and and use the nuts to do the job of turning the studs. Note though the warning (small image bottom-right), when replacing the studs you have to be careful one doesn't go all the way through and stop the oil pump cog.

I prefer the shock removal method because touching something always runs the risk of breaking it. Studs and threads are annoying to fix.
