I bought a 1980 Vespa P125X with less than 800 miles.
A few scratches, but no rust and the engine is tight.
I took it for a test ride around the block: it feels like it still needs to be broken in, but compared to what I'm use to ride, oh boy, it's slow!

I'm getting ready to add a few mods: Polini 177, LeoVinci exhaust, and I'm still undecided between a tuned 24/24 or an aftermarket intake manifold plus Dell'Orto 28 PHBH. It's hard to find reliable opinions on the web: I don't want to build a racer, but I definitely want to be able to drive it on the highway without worrying of getting rear-ended...
