    CHT?

The Koso "should" have CHT according to the manual, however will it go high enough? CHT readings should go up to 400F.

A simple test was done by holding a lighter under the water temp sensor. The reading climbed to 150C but went no further. So the gauge is no good for use with air cooled scooters where normal running temperature is 320F-380F (160C-193C).

    Who sells these in Australia?
    Posted 03:15, 15 Mar 2008
I got mine from SIP, what sort of scooter do you want it for? There are some other models sold in Australia, it is just tricky getting something that suits a scooter, especially aircooled.

Wanted it for my PX. I have been emailing their Asian and American offices but no reply.

I also wanted a clock on the speedo face if possible. Temp etc. would be a bonus.

Am interested to know how you get on with the huge freight costs from SIP Paul. I met a bloke who payed a fortune for an exhaust and then import duty. So he ended up paying over $1K for a PX exhaust.

SIP provide a low cost DHL service to Australia now. Still expensive but no where near what it used to be. Their service can be unpredictable though, I've had bad and good.

I've just done a test and updated the page info. The Koso is no good for aircooled.

Correct me if I am wrong Paul, but my PX has no light in the speedo. Damn annoying at night.

You should have a speedo light, your bulb is probably blown or loose. You'll need to take off the headset to check. edited 19:26, 12 Aug 2008

Sorry Paul, meant parking light. I did a halogen conversion and the "parking" light has never worked.
