Images should be kept to around 70-100 Kb in size.

Computer screens cannot display the quality of images that modern cameras produce (Megapixels). To make uploading/downloading images faster for users of a website it is best to use file sizes based on computer screen resolution (i.e. the smallest size for the same result). On a computer screen a 100Kb file will look exactly the same as a 1Mb file but be 10 times faster.

Here are some utilities to help you quickly adapt image size to suit Vespa Labs

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP use "Image Resizer" to right-click and resize files.

To get the same functionality on Vista use Image Resizer Powertoy Clone for Windows
